LoveFab's 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb adventure didn't go to well, but the Americans are far from giving up and have announced we're going to see more of them at this year's event.
Based on their last experience, when owner and driver Cody Loveland left the course at almost 60 mph (98 km/h), LoveFab decided to power their Acura NXS-based racer with a dry-sump LS1 V8 engine, expecting about 800 lb-ft of torque "to pull the car out of the corners"..

The company also expects a curb weight below the 2,000 pounds mark thanks to the chromoly-tube chassis and the full carbon fiber body. As you might have guessed, the "Turbo by Garrett/LoveFab Pikes Peak Enviate" will be an Unlimited Class contender in the 2013 "Race to the Clouds".

"In 2012, LoveFab Inc. showed tenacity and the true spirit of motorsports by overcoming multiple set-backs during the whole race week in their rookie year and finishing one of the toughest motorsport events in the world. This year, we are proud to announce that we will be giving full support to the LoveFab Inc. team as they bring to the table a lighter and more powerful Acura NSX-based machine to conquer Pikes Peak," said Turbo by Garrett in a press release.

The 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is scheduled to take place on June 30, but until then don't miss the LoveFab video below:
