Logan LPG on Sale in France from 6,700 Euros

We already knew that Renault relies a lot on the Romania brand Dacia so it shouldn't surprise anyone that the French manufacturer rolled out a new version of the Logan in its domestic market. Renault today debuted the Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG in France, the second LPG model after Sandero rolled out in March 2009, which comes at prices starting from 6,700 euros, including the country's 2,000 euros incentive.

Obviously, Renault praises most features of the new Logan, but the main attraction is still the LPG fueled powerplant. According to official figures, the new model produces 135 grams of CO2 per kilometer and is capable of traveling for more than 1,200 km on full tanks of petrol (50 liters) and LPG (42 liters).

The LPG parts are designed by Landi Renzo and are assembled at Dacia's only production facility in Pitesti, Romania.

"Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG complies fully with the group's exacting safety standards, as well as with the appropriate European safety standards (ECE 67-01). The steel fuel tank is extremely strong and, in keeping with European legislation, is equipped with a long list of safety equipment: anti-return valve, fill limiter (80 per cent), flow restrictor and solenoid safety valve," Renault said in a release.

In terms of engine performance, the 1.4-liter engine develops 75 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 112 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. Equipment highlights include ABS with emergency brake assist, driver and front passenger airbag, tinted glass, three height-adjustable rear headrests and push-button boot lock. There are several options available, with most of them fitted in the top-of-the-range Laureate version sold for 10,250 euros.
