The Alpina stand in Frankfurt drew a lot of attention, especially because of the launch of the D3 Bi-Turbo models, that finally came out, just as the German manufacturer promised.
Apart from this world premiere vehicle, you can also take a look at the company's first SUV, the XD3 model that has the same 350 HP and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) diesel engine as the D3 Bi-Turbo.
Other models on display include the 540 HP B6 Bi-Turbo Coupe, the 350 HP D5 Bi-Turbo Diesel, and the M3 replacement, the 410 HP B3 Bi-turbo, in a freakishly good looking green.
All of them are also available on the Alpina Configurator that was just released so that you can go online and see for yourself if they're worth the extra money (in our opinion, they are more than worth it). Of course, if you just can't wait for the M3 any more, we recommend going for the B3 model.
