The all new Lexus NX will probably make sales of the old chunky RX drop a bit. What can you do in this case as an automaker until you put out the new model? Offer a special edition of course.
Unfortunately, this Radiant Aero Style Lexus RX version is available only in Japan for the moment. It’s not going to redefine the the crossover, but it do comes with some nice touches that makes it look sharper.
Starting on the outside, you notice a new set of three-spoked aluminum rims finished in gray and silver metallic shades, new LED front foglamps, dark black front grille as well as a bumper and lower aero piece finished in the same dark shade.
The interior is where the least amount of changes happened, but you still get a very nice Black & Garnet leather upholstery with contrasting stitches as well as matching floor mats offered as optionals.
Lexus offers the special trim for all three RX versions - 270, 350 and 450h - and it can be had with seven distinct exterior colors, including Garnet Red Mica, White Pearl Crystal Shine and Starlight Black Glass Flakes.
Now lets see if the automaker will soon implement the same strategy for other markets too. That new NX 200t really sounds like a better decisions than the bulky RX. Not to mention the agility and much better looks.
