Toyota's Lexus division is not only fighting hard to improve its image as a luxury car maker, but also as a sportscar maker. That's why a brand new sports coupe called the RC F was unveiled last month in Detroit. This has a powerful new 5-liter V8 engine and aggressive styling.
Now, the company will launch another model that is designed to bridge the gap between the hardcore RC F and the more mundane V6-powered RS 350. It's called the RC 360 F Sport and will make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 4th.
Like the F Sport versions of the RX or IS, power will come from the same engine, a 3.5-liter V6 in this case. But changes to the suspension, steering and braking will mean enhanced driving dynamics. Think of this as BMW's work with M Performance parts or an S line body kit and suspension for the regular A5 coupe
Other cars that will be on display in Geneva next month will include the updated 2014 CT 200h F Sport and the all-new RC F that we've been talking about.
