Lexus is known for its luxurious, quality built and elegant vehicles. There are two exceptions however, two awesome cars built for speed and thrill.
One of them is the Lexus LFA limited-production supercar, which has a structure made out of carbon fiber and aluminum. This car is so special, that Toyota made a special three-dimensional looming machine to make the CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic) parts needed for each one of the 500 units built. Power is provided by a 4..8-liter V10 engine making 552 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque.
The other thrill-machine is the Lexus IS F CCS-R, which, unlike the LFA, is a not-street-legal car. Based on the IS F performance sedan, this racecar is about 700 lb lighter, having a stripped-down interior with racing gear, carbon fiber panels and lightweight rims. Under its hood, there is a vicious 5-liter V8 engine kicking 416 hp and 371 lb-ft of torque.
