Toyota has updated its RAV4 model making it more stylish and upscale, representing now a real threat in the compact crossover segment.
Major design changes can be found both at the front and the rear. The front fascia is contoured now by more angular headlamps connected by the redesigned grille, while the bumper received a trapezoidal design. At the back, you’ll find a big clear tailgate, with the spare tire replaced under the cargo area, and longer vertical taillamps replacing the old square ones.
The interior gave up on the third row of seats, leaving more space both for passengers and luggage, even more than the Ford Escape, Nissan Rogue or Kia Sportage.
Under the hood you’ll also find a new more economical four-cylinder engine, instead of the V6, making 176 hp/172 lb-ft and connected to a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The Fast Lane Car have tested the new RAV4 and warmly recommends buying it for its affordability, efficiency and functionality. Read their full review here.
