The lack of hybrid vehicles on the Indian market, which doesn’t seem prepared for two-way powered cars, didn’t stop Toyota from releasing the new Camry Hybrid on the local market.
Based on a normal Camry, the hybrid version comes with redesigned headlamps, new grille and front bumper, bigger 17-inch wheels, the rest being the same as the gasoline version.
Under the hood, you get a 2.5-liter VVT-i four-cylinder engine and an electric motor, totaling 202 PS. Inside, you get tons of space and a good-quality upholstery. Equipment include four airbags, ABS, EBD, touch screen infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, three-zone climate control, cruise control and cooled front seats.
OnCars India has tested the Toyota Camry and you can read their full review here.
