The Lexus LF-Lc was revealed at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show back in January and created quite a stir with its exotic design. Back a couple of months ago, there was a 50-50 chance for it to be put into production, but now it seems the large coupe got the green lights.
According to Autonews, the LF-LC will become a production reality within the next three-years. This should be a thorn in the side of German coupes and roadsters which have been unrivaled since the SC 430 was pulled.

Right now, we don’t know what will power the next big thing in 2+2 luxury motoring. But you can bet it’s going to be a hybrid variant in there. We might see a front-engine, rear-wheel drive platform borrowed from the recently launched GS sedan.
