The Mazda6 is one of, if not the best looking car in its class at the moment. It features no useless styling cues, or ‘design tricks’ to make it look like something it is not, instead being a cleanly designed and sleek car with a lot of personality and appeal.
Now, autoexpress.co.uk say they received an unmarked envelope, containing the four pictures in the gallery below. Then, the British publication asked Mazda officials about the cars in the pictures, and whether or not they show the upcoming new Mazda3. The official response they got is that both the the hatch and the sedan in the pictures are nothing more than 3D models and renderings.
Now, while we are skeptical about the whole thing, we are hoping that the actual Mazda3, set to be revealed next summer will be this very car. The pictures are of too low-a-quality to make a definitive judgement, but they do look very good and professionally made, and to our eyes, they look quite official.
They show Mazda’s latest styling language, Kodo, which is currently present on just two of their cars: the 6 and the CX5. If these renderings (or real pictures) turn out to be of the actual car, the Golf, Focus and Megane better beware!
