Less than 100 Bucks to Reserve your smart

As the little European smart will be coming on American land in 2008, DaimlerChrysler (or should I say Daimler-Benz?) of America has started to accept reservations. So, if you live in America and you simply must have one, hurry and contact Daimler, but be sure to have USD 99 to spare, because the reservation right isn't free.

The cheapest and most accessible smart ForTwo will be the Pure version, which will cost only USD 12,000. If you just can't drive without a stereo system, you can get the Passion model for USD 14,000, model which comes with other features to make driving more pleasurable. For an extra USD 3,000, the convertible Passion becomes available.

The standard on the smart Pure model includes a 5 speed manual transmission with manual or automatic mode, 2 spoke leather steering wheel, central remote locking system and radio console. Optionals include air conditioning, alloy wheels and electric windows. The smart Passion has a few extra features, like the alloy wheels, climate control, panorama roof, 3 spoke leather sports steering wheel with shift paddles, power windows, radio with CD player and electric and heated side mirrors.

Girls, if you are interested, know that the smart's colour range will include Metallic Blue, Metallic Silver, Deep Black, Crystal White, Light Yellow, or Metallic Red, for most of the outer shell, the safety cell being painted only in black or silver. As for the interior, only one colour will be available, gray.
