Cruiser riders can now enjoy one more upgrade for their bikes, in the shape of the new driving lights announced by Lazer Star Lights.
The California-based company recently surfaced two new lighting kits for cruiser-type motorbikes. While such additional lighting kits can of course, be installed on pretty much any bike which allows the clamps to be secured, it’s the cruiser guys who were kind of left behind.
So Lazer Star Lights created special clamps for installation on the highway bars and in similar places. As far as the initial photos show, these clamps seem to be chrome/nickel-friendly so having them installed will not ruin the shiny finish of the bikes.
Both kits are based on the company’s LX LED technology, and are offered as a pair of modules.
The Discovery kit is a pair of Spot LED lights, and 1.25” mounting clamps. The two light modules are circular and have a 2.5” (6.35 cm) diameter.
They are loaded with 10W Cree LEDs which produce 1000 Lumens each and are guaranteed for at least 50,000 hours. Despite their brightness, these LEDs are very efficient and will remain cool even after prolonged use.
If round lights are not your thing, Lazer Star is offering the Atlantis kits, consisting of two 6” (15.2 cm) bars, each loaded with four 3W Cree LEDs, 300 Lumens each. The lifespan and energy efficiency are the same.
Both kits come with rugged, durable, dust- and waterproof housing, and their black color is a nifty complement to the chrome accents. The Discovery kits are $299.95(€218), while the Atlantis kits are $329.95 (€240). Both are already available for purchase from Lazer Star Lights and authorized dealers.
