Honda may have built the fastest lawn mower in the world, but there are a couple of contraptions out there that would definitely give it a run for its money if we want to talk about the most fun you can have in a lawn mower. This is what we want to show you today and it all has to do with rotary power.
The mower you can see in the adjacent clip is powered hyperpowered by a rotary engine. This is a senior powerplant, running a carburetor, single-rotor setup, so if you think you can identify it, go ahead and express yourself in the comments section.

The thing comes with a pretty solid rear end, allowing it to turn from a lawn mower into a tire shredder. Seriously, pulling burnouts and donuts seems like the main aim this machine was built for.

As you can imagine, one of the biggest tricks it pulls from its absent grass bag is a soundtrack that definitely excites. The engine’s voice is accompanied by a strong whine, which comes from the accessories belt. We just wanted to tell you this so that you don’t start building any unrealistic supercharger dreams.

Speaking of power, this creation could be capable of quarter mile runs sitting somewhere in the 13 to 15 seconds area, so don’t mock it if you ever happen to cross paths at the drag strip
