Audio and infotainment systems manufacturer Harman has just unveiled the new Kardon Logic7 HD system exclusively for the Range Rover Autobiography. Fitted as standard on the limited edition version of the SUV, the Harman Kardon Logic7 HD system is also offered as an option throughout the entire Land Rover model range.
The new system is the result of 16 years of successful cooperation between Harman Kardon and Land Rover that was celebrated back in June with an event held at the exclusive recording studios of music icon Mark Knopfler.
That is where the Kardon Logic7 HD system was first demonstrated, as Grammy winning Producer Steve Levine produced two tracks that have been performed by Ivor Novello nominee Patch William for demonstration in the Range Rover Autobiography.
Logic7 is characterized by a 5.1 surround sound setup with a total output of 1200 watts, built with 15-channel sound and 19 speakers plus a 20mm subwoofer in the front door and a subwoofer in the rear quarter deck.
“The latest Harman Kardon Logic7 HD system offers the audio connoisseur a unique listening experience. Utilising the most up-to-date digital technology, an impressive 1200W D class amplifier is at the heart of this premium sound system, delivering high dynamic performance, authentically reproducing the recordings back to the listener with the same unparalleled quality achieved during the live performance,” a company statement reads.
“Coupled with Harman Kardon's proprietary Logic7 surround sound processing technology this creates an all encompassing, multi-layered experience releasing the subtle nuances of the original recording, irrespective of the seat location.”
