A new day, a new piece of news about the Lamborghini SUV. After we found out that the concept will make its public debut at the Beijing Motor Show and that it is expected to use the Urus name, we can now see its silhouette, which has been included in an official invitation to the event that was sent by the carmaker today.
We like what see here, as the profile of the car shows one of the best ways of concealing the massive dimensions of an SUV we’ve seen so far. The vehicle will come to the world as a concept this weekend and, as Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann previously said, will be on the market in 2017.
The vehicle will share its platform with the rest of the VW Group full-size SUVs, like the VW Touareg, Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and production incarnation of the Bentley EXP 9 F concept. As for what will be under the hood, unofficial sources claim that the vehicle will use a reworked version of the V10 unit on the Gallardo.
