Lamborghini has recently united all its motorsport and performance driving efforts under the umbrella of its new Squadra Corse racing division. The company has now released a video that showcases the activities of its new arm, with the clip screaming “action!”
Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse cosists of three main sub-entities. We’ll start the enumeration with the Lamborghini Academy, which provides driver tuition, offering both tarmac and winter driving experiences.
The Super Trofeo Blancpain series, which sees the Raging Bull’s racing machines compete against each other, comes next. Lamborghini also takes part in GT3 motorsport, where it meets racing incarnation of its competitors from the street.
The company recently appointed Swiss motorsport engineer Max Welti to lead its track offensive. A former racing driver, Welti replaces Lamborghini’s Head of R&D, Maurizio Regani, the interim manager of the Squadra Corse.
