This is one of those examples where what someone says doesn’t necessarily apply to what he does. The owner of the Lamborghini Murcielago in the photo above was apparently trying to sell his car to a prospective buyer when he ended up in a ditch, over a tree, with a soaring headache.
We might not be spot on about the headache, but the car and the tree certainly met at one point, as you can plainly see. The report comes from Sydney, Australia and it seems to be a couple of days old already. Even so, we couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to show you an example of how NOT to do things.

According to local media, the man was trying to show his potential buyer what the car was capable of but ended up losing control of the vehicle and crashing into a tree. The impact was so violent that the tree was uprooted, causing severe damage to the car, especially after the Lambo went over its roots due to the inertia. The subframe must be in really poor shape right now.

The best part of this story though is that both the driver and the passenger came out of the whole thing unscathed. Judging by how the car looks like after the ordeal, we tend to believe the claims.

Whether the man will be able to sell the car now or not, we have no idea. After the news had made it on websites from around the world, it’s kind of hard to imagine an enthusiast willing to buy that didn’t hear about this mishap. Considering the prices such exotics have in Australia (over AUD200,000 second hand) we’re hoping that the owner had some proper insurance to take care of this otherwise he’s looking at quite a hefty blow to his budget.
