We are here now to talk about US exports. Don’t worry though, we won’t go into economical detail, as we want to focus on a particular case instead. This involves a Lamborghini Gallardo twin turbo customized in the US, with Puerto Rico as the destination.
We’re talking about an Underground Racing Gallardo twin turbo that was sent to Puerto Rico - you can see the car in the adjacent images.
This is a 2004 Gallardo, so we’re talking about the pre-facelift model. Its V10 engine was gifted with a Stage 1 Race version kit, including a John Reed Motec ECU, as well as a DBW throttle control for the e-gear automated manual.
Speaking of the e-gear, the six-speed transmission was gifted with a full billet helix 1-6 gear set, including billet input and output shafts, custom ratio billet helix final drive gears, billet differential and others.
This particular example was completely disassembled, getting a complete respray, as a custom two-tone finish was desired. A Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera front apron, as well as the tailpipes and rear diffuser from this model were also added.
