We all knew the purchase story of the Lamborghini Aventador - if you want one, you have to put your name on a one-year waiting list. Well, the Italian automotive producer has just confirmed the info.
In a press release announcing the Dubai market launch for the Aventador Roadster, Lamborghini made it clear. Well... sort of.
Here’s the official info: “First deliveries to customers of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster in the UAE are now starting. Deliveries of the Aventador in the Middle East have already increased by more than 50% in 2013 to end September compared to the same period in 2012. Lamborghini Aventador models remain forward sold for more than 12 months worldwide.”
We’re not quite sure if the 12-month period refers to both the Coupe and the Roadster. However, while the first is a certainty, we couldn’t expect the latter to be much easier to obtain, even if not subjected to the same one-year adventure.
You can probably find an Aventador with 0 miles on its odometer right now, but don’t expect the price to be the standard one...
