Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Does Fiery Launch Control, Looks Like Need For Speed

Driving supercars in real life can only get so close to the experience one has while playing games, at least without the whole thing being captured on camera and edited with special effects. Nevertheless, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ stunt we have here seems to get pretty close to the action in Need For Speed (pick your favorite title).
To be more precise, this 770 horsepower Bull recently visited an airport in Croatia (that's a proper place for such a velocity tool). In the process, it delivered a Launch Control feature augmented with enough exaust flames to generate the effect mentioned above.

And no, the driver didn't use the nitrous while getting off the line, simply because the V12 animal doesn't pack such a setup (while the owner did try to buy it, he hadn't reached that point in the game where the feature is unlocked).

Speaking of dragon-like behavior, we recently zoom in on a rev battle turned flame battle, one that involved another Aventador (an SV), a McLaren 600 LT (oh, those top-mount exhaust pipes) and a Huracan with a twin-turbo kit from hell.

And while we're talking about the Aventador, I'll remind you the SVJ and the S are sold out through 2021 - the info comes from my recent interview with Andrea Baldi, Lamborgini EMEA CEO.

This obviously reduces the chances of Sant'Agata Bolognese releasing a final version of the Aventador before its hybrid successor arrives, even though the rumor mill talks about a RWD version.

The interview covers the changed the Italian automotive producer is going through. And another important fact is the booming number of female customers targeting the brand. The strongest face of the trend can be seen in Asia, where the percentage of women among Lambo customers now sits well above ten percent, which is unprecedented for the company.
