Kyle Busch Breaks Record and Wins Nationwide Series Indiana 250

Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota driver Kyle Busch achieved a record breaking pole position this weekend at the Nationwide Series Indiana 250 which he also won at the end.
Kyle drove his #54 Camry at an average speed of 179,6 mph (289 km/h) in the qualifying round, managing to post a record-breaking 50.099 on the historic Indy oval, breaking Kasey Kahne’s previous record from last year.

Starting from his 31st Nationwide pole position, Busch led the race for 92 out of 100 laps, after Brian Scott briefly took the lead. However, he thrusted his way back into first position and got the checkered flag, assuring its 59th Nationwide win of 259 starts and giving Toyota its first NASCAR win at the track. Toyota is in first place Manufacturer in the Nationwide Series now with 129 points, followed by Ford with 123 and Chevrolet with 109.
