Kia is topping expectations in just about every market right now, and the automaker has reported global deliveries totaled 217,736 vehicles sold globally in September, representing a 16.3 percent sales increase from the same month a year ago.
The automaker reported significant double-digit increases in many major markets: 45.9 per cent in China, 20.6 per cent in North America and 20.6 percent in Europe. September sales in Kia’s home market of Korea grew year-on-year by 4.4 percent, while sales in general markets declined by 2.6 percent.

"We should carry out aggressive marketing so that new strategic models for Europe will drive European sales,"
Chung Mong-koo, chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, said in a recent visit to the Old Continent.

For the first nine months of the year, Kia’s global sales have shown an increase of 18.2 percent compared to the first three quarters of last year. North America saw the biggest change with a 35 percent jump this year, followed by China with 27.1 percent.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
