Kia Motors Europe Appoints New President: Brandon Yea

Affective immediately, Kia Motor Europe has appointed a new president - Mr Byung-Tae (Brandon) Yea, who reportedly has 30 years of varied experience in the business.
His career started with Hyundai Motors Corporation and later Hyundai Motors America. He joined Kia in 1999 with various top position in marketing and brand management departments. Late last year, he was appointed as president of Kia in the Middle East and Africa region, based in Dubai.

As president of European operations, he will replace Mr Sun-Young Kim, who presided over Kia’s growth for the past five years, but will be returning to the automaker’s Korean headquarters.

Kia recently announced a new yearly target of 293,000 deliveries compared to the original 285,000 estimate for 2011.
