Kia will be replacing the current Soul next year, with an all-new model. However, aside from the usual lineup of diesel and petrol engines, it has been confirmed that an all-electric variant is coming.
The information comes from Kia’s marketing director, Benny Oeyen, who also added that the all-electric variant will be available for purchase in Europe, and possibly in a few US states, with California being the prime candidate. We say they should sell it in the us, where the current Soul is very appreciated.

The all-new Soul will not be radically different to the current model, styling-wise, and it will most likely blend Kia’s new design language with the current shape of the body. It is expected to make its debut at the Chicago Auto Show, in February of next year, or the New York Auto Show, which will take place two months later.
