Kia Angel Is Grotesque in China

We had a really good opinion about Kia and how this Korean brand reinvented itself using sleek designs. Aaaaaaaand it's gone!
This picture appears to have been taken at a recent motor show somewhere in China. We have no idea what the marketing people were thinking, but no good came out of it. The pale pink angel costume puts you off like rain on a busy monday or hair on a woman's legs.

The costume is more abomination than angel and conjures up imagery of lady gaga costumes, those really bad girls you get from friends who think they're funny and something NASA once made John Kerry wear. We're not going to say it, but we're pretty sure you're thinking it too!

We'd love to know what's going on in the model's head right now. It's probably along the lines of "kill me, kill me now!"

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
