Hoonigan Racing has released first details on Ken Block’s new project truck, the Ford F-150 RaptorTrax. Described as “the ultimate backcountry snowboard expedition vehicle”, the tracked Raptor truck will star in an upcoming video that will be released next winter.
Based on a F-150 Raptor prepared by Ford Racing, the truck was further enhanced by Special Vehicle Concepts in California and fitted with snowboard racks, a roof basket, a rear-mounted winch and Rigid Industries lighting.

The vehicle was also equipped with an exterior stereo system “for blasting music on-site” and plenty of interior storage for snacks and drinks.

Power is provided by a 6.2-liter V8 engine with a Whipple supercharger on top, while a full roll cage and a set of Recaro seats were added for safety purposes. The truck will be displayed at Winter X Games in Aspen later this week.

"This project is something I've had in my head for awhile now," said Block. "I absolutely love my daily driver Ford Raptor, especially since I live out here in the mountains of Park City, so to build out this mountain assault vehicle with a Raptor as the base platform made total sense to me. It's an absolute beast of a machine and I'm stoked with how it's turned out. Next up is for me to take it deep into the backcountry ASAP to help me and some friends slay some powder on our snowboards for a video project due out later this year."
