A just-for-laughs drag race pits the McLaren MP4-12C supercar against a 1970 Chevelle SS 396 in original conditional, boasting a 375 hp, delivered through a 4-speed transmission. Equipped with "no AC, but has crank windows" and "genuine vinyl", the SS really has no chance against the best of Britain.
But even though it wins the race quite convincingly, the joke's on the McLaren when it comes to the price. While the MP4 has lost a third of its value already, the 1970 sports coup' is now worth at least 20 times more than when it was new.
