Many adore the design of retro automobiles, but only a few choose to drive such creations, as the experience deprives one of many goodies offered by contemporary vehicles. However, we’ve come across what seems to be a dream come true: a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette wrapped in the body of a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible.

The creation, which uses the Corvelle name, offers the tech goodies of the ‘Vette, including most of the chassis, a 6.0-liter LS2 V8 mill that delivers 400 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, as well as the six-speed manual gearbox. All the modern systems, such as the ABS or the traction control, are fully functional.

In addition to that, the creation offers certain parts that come from the Corvette Z51 performance package, such as the suspension and the brakes. Of course, we also get custom parts, such as the dual exhaust system and the 18- or 19- inch chrome plated rims that are wrapped in Corvette-spec Goodyear tires.

In addition to that, the interior, which uses a Charcoal leather finish, has also been borrowed from the ‘Vette, being adapted to the larger space offered by the Chevelle’s body.

OK, so the integration seems to be perfect, but how about the price? Well, this Blue Pearl muscle car dream can be yours for $109,900, being offered by RK Motors.
