Yamaha's MotoGP star Jorge Lorenzo (2 times 250cc and 2 times in MotoGP champion) has signed with Korean helmet manufacturer HJC. Formerly riding with Nolan helmets, Jorge Lorenzo and his former teammate Ben Spies, will be wearing HJC headgear in 2013.
No details on what happened to the Nolan deal have been given, so we can very well assume HJC showed bigger figures in the contract. HJC will also sign more riders in multiple categories for 2013, with Julian Simon and Ricky Cardus already announced.
Lorenzo (25) will be racing with an R-PHA 10 PLUS helmet, the most advanced model in the HJC line. Official pictures are expected soon, with HJC most likely waiting to see whether they load the Monster or the Rockstar decals on it.
