It is time for the Jaguar XKR-S Convertible spying to come to an end, as the vehicle will be unveiled its final form at next week’s 2011 Los Angeles International Auto Show.
The topless version, which you see rendered here, will borrow the coupe’s tech goodies, which means that we’ll get a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 that has been forced to deliver 550 hp and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque.This will be the fastest open top Jag in history, so expect to get an explosive beast. However, it will be a fair car, as, through its violent aerodynamic pack, it won’t do anything to hide its muscles.
The coupe covers the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 4.2 seconds and we’re expecting the convertible to offer almost identical performance.
