Everybody knows the iconic look of the Jaguar E-Type, twin or quad stacks rising up the back of the car like bespoke musical jewelry.
Jaguar naturally wanted an evocative on the F-Type, and since modern aerodynamic wouldn’t work with long tubes sticking out the back, they had to make the tips really special.
The solution was not in Britain, but in Italy, as Australian magazine CarAdvice reports the tips for the F-Type are actually made by an Italian company called Unifer, which usually makes bespoke exhausts for Ducati.
Either way, these well polished pieces of metal produce the right sort of sound and are of a design you rarely see on today's semi-fake sportscars. Well done Jaguar!
