The Jaguar E-Type is one of the most iconic and best looking cars ever made in the entire history of the automotive industry. Its shape is so timeless and so well proportioned, that you tend to see everything else which followed as a step backward – this, among other aspects, is why we say car design peaked in the 1960s.
However, the E-Type formula can, apparently, be made better, but not by Jaguar themselves, or a particularly big company, for that matter, but rather by a group of highly-talented and highly-passionate individuals who want to make something beautiful which also works, and money afterward. The result is the Eagle Speedster, a car which features everything you’d expect from an E-Type Jag, and a lot more.

First off, it is very well built, using high quality materials, it features a fuel-injected 4.7-liter straight-six (the characteristic sound signature is still there), which pushes the stunning-looking body along with no fuss at all, as it only weighs 1,008 kg. The Eagle Speedster is, as Jeremy Clarkson said as well, the most beautiful shape of car ever produced, and we have to agree. Too bad it is just way too expensive and exclusive, and chances are you’ll never see one on the road, ever.
