Any Viper is a sweet piece of wheels, but the example you see here has a story for which the word "special" is nowhere near as enough.
This unit of the Viper was offered to F1 driver Jacques Villeneuve as a prize for the 1997 season, in which he managed to take the world title from under Michael Schumacher's nose. The vehicle followed Villneuve during the 1998 F1 championship and it comes with 23,000 miles (37,000 km) on its odometer (we must thank Pistonheads for the scoop).

The story coyuld very well end here. But it doesn't. You see, Rothmans, the tobacco company that offered the driver this prize wanted to make sure that it's one he'll remember.

Thus, the car paid a visit to US tuner Hennessey before it was delivered, being boosted up to 600 hp (that's 600 hp being sent to the road via the rear wheels with NO electronic nannies), offering a 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h).

Conclusion: this baby is now being sold in the UK for GBP39,995 ($63,000 or EUR46,000 at the current exchange rates)
