Whenever a new performance machine comes out, you can't help but ask yourself when the speed tool will have its first crash. And while the Bugatti Veyron might be extremely safe during high-speed driving, it's obviously not immune to accidents. Fortunately, though, we're probably not looking at the Chiron's first crash here.
First of all, this image, which comes from the GTboard Facebook page, qualifies for what the Internet calls "potato quality". Secondly, it doesn't come with any details, so all we have is a bunch of pixels.

Even so, if this is a photo that actually shows a Chiron needing assistance to move around and not a Photoshop job, we are, most likely, dealing with a test car.

The Molsheim-based automaker did perform its fair share of crash tests before introducing the Veyron's successor to the world, as those of you who followed the leaked crash test mule story remember.

Some of you might wonder about the timing involved here - while a number of pre-production cars have shown up around the world earlier this year, in places such as Monaco (of course), official production of the 1,500 hp machine kicked off in September.

As for the extremely safe high-velocity driving part of the intro above, a few lucky aficionados have already had the pleasure to take the quad-turbo beast for a spin. And this is how we found out just how little effort the French mechanical supermodel requires from its driver, even when talking about hooning. Those of you who missed the video showcasing this will find it below. Ironically, we have to ask you not to try this at home, whether you drive a hypercar, supercar or a beater that can barely get to 60 mph.

We'll keep you updated if new details on this damaged Chiron show up.
