Infiniti CEO de Nysschen Is Confident in the Future!

A few months back, we reported a surprising move at the very top of the premium car market’s shot-calling level, when Audi CEO, Johan de Nysschen left the German brand, in order to take up a similar position with Nissan’s luxury sub-brand, Infiniti.
He was recently asked, during his attendance at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance about how the company will progress, what their plans and aspirations are and what they hope to achieve within the next five years.

De Nysschen seemed very confident that Infiniti has a bright future ahead of it and that in coming years the brand will grow, both in terms of the size of the range of cars on offer, and in terms of its customer base and the demographics behind it all.

He also mentioned the fact that ‘premium compacts’ are beginning to be really sought-after, hinting that the company may pursue the development of such a vehicle in the near future. He also confirmed the production of a ‘halo car’ - a move which will boost the brand’s image like nothing else could.
