HT Moto Sponsors Melissa Paris in 2011

California-based HT Moto announced today it has decided to support the “fastest woman on track,” Melissa Paris, as she will go for the win in the 2011 AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike series. HT Moto manufactures performance traction products including custom tank pads, seat covers and race seats.

"I am so excited to be working with HT Moto for 2011. I've been using their tank pads and seat covers since they were still in the development stage. Their traction products actually make riding the motorcycle so much easier,”
stated Melissa Paris. “It’s awesome to be working with a company that makes a product that I believe in so much."

Melissa Paris entered her first race in 2004, less than an year after she first throw her leg over a motorcycle. She raced at Streets of Willow Springs, on nothing other than a CBR600RR. By the end of the season she achieved the expert status, but taking the advice of some more experienced friends, she switched to the 125GP class.

Riding a 1998 Aprilia RS125 bike, she secured her first win at Roebling Road in 2006. That was the start of a promising racing career...

"The sky is the limit with Melissa. Not only is she a great representative of the sport, she's a dedicated and determined athlete as well,”
Vice President and General Manager, Max Battaglia, was quoted as saying in a statement for the press. “I know when she puts her mind to something she gives it her all and goes beyond 100% and that's the attitude we're looking for; those willing to do what others say is impossible. I have complete confidence that 2011 will be the year for Melissa and we're excited to be part of it."
