Yesterday, we’ve showed you how to reset the oil change warning light in a Lexus ES, now we’ll teach you how tho do it for a Toyota Corolla.
You know the drill... If you change the engine oil yourself at home, you will have to reset the MAINT REQD indicator from the dashboard so that it will show up next time you have to perform a maintenance.

Reseting the MAINT REQD on a 2009 Toyota Corolla is less complicated than on the Lexus and it goes like this:
  • Turn the ignition key until the dash lights up
  • Set the odometer to Trip A
  • Turn off the ignition
  • Hold the trip selector pushed while turning the ignition back on
  • While keeping it pressed, wait for the beep and the zeros to flash on the odometer display and then let it go
  • The last step is to reset the mileage, so press again the control button until it reads 0.0
