- Open up the hood and disconnect both terminals from the battery
- Secure the cables’ position so it won’t touch the battery terminal
- Leave the car for about half an hour so that any residual electricity in the vehicle will be dissipated
- You can now go and safely disconnect the electric wires from the airbag in order to remove it.
