New Year comes with some nice changes for Honda fans from the UK. The Japanese carmaker is set to launch a limited edition Civic and a Black Edition CR-V, both available from early February 2016.
After a break of three years, Honda is bringing back the CR-V Black Edition. The vehicle will be available in four-wheel-drive with a choice of gasoline or diesel engines and manual or automatic transmission.
On the exterior, the Black Edition will feature running boards, a tailgate spoiler, 19-inch black alloy wheels, a gloss black front grille and skid plates on the front and rear.
The interior will feature high-quality leather, contrasting stitching, embossed Black Edition logo on the front and rear seats, and last but not least, leather door panels and arm rests. The vehicle’s carpets also embody the Black Edition logo.
The new CR-V Black Edition starts from £29,995 on the road (approx. $43, 872) for the manual 2.0-liter i- VTEC and reaches £33,730 on the road (approx. $49,335) for the automatic 1.6 i-DTEC.
Based on the standard 1.4-liter i-VTEC S with manual transmission, the Civic Limited Edition comes with 16-inch aero wheels, body colored wheel arches which, together with a front panel and rear skirt, give the car a more aggressive look.
As for the color, the customers will have to choose between Brilliant Sporty Blue, Polished Metal, Milano Red and Crystal Black.
If you're a fan of the Civic and want this limited edition, you will have to lay out £14,995 ODR (approx. $21,932).
According to Philip Crossman, managing director at Honda UK, “This time last year we had the oldest range on market and were about to launch the latest Civic and CR-V. The limited edition Civic and the Black Edition CR-V are fantastic additions to the core product lineup and will make for a great start to 2016.”
