Honda Offers 0% Finance for Jazz

Honda UK said it wants to help customers make the most of what’s left of the British scrappage scheme, so it re-launched its 0% APR finance offer for Jazz. This finance package for two years offers customers a great deal: 35% deposit and 24 monthly repayments starting from £299.

If you don’t have a car for the scrappage scheme, that’s no problem. Honda’s offer is also available to non-scrappage customers, and given the Jazz’s high repeat purchase rate of 63% this could be a good opportunity for existing Jazz owners to get the new model.

Honda Jazz is being built at Honda's factory in Swindon, UK. Production of the Jazz for European buyers has been transferred from Japan to the United Kingdom in October 2009. The production facility builds cars for both the domestic and the export markets. British-built Jazz models are 75 percent sold in the UK and 25 percent in other countries in Europe and South Africa.

The UK government decided to extend the country's scrappage scheme by adding an extra month and pushing the deadline well into March. Until now, the scheme has proved to be very efficient, as some 330,000 new vehicles have been sold. The UK has pumped about 400 million pounds in the scheme since May last year, setting the limit of vehicles to be sold to 400,000. Now, there are about 70,000 left. Customers who choose to buy a new car through the program benefit from a 2,000 pounds discount on the price of the new vehicle.
