If you've ever wondered why these performance cars have such low front spoilers, now you've got your answer: so their design can be turned more easily into a robotic lawnmower.
Not really, but wouldn't that be the industry secret reveal of the century? "Ha, you thought it had to do with aerodynamics, air flow, and downforce? Nope, it was all about grass." But if there's one company that knows the most out of both worlds then that's got to be Honda.

The Japanese giant builds all kinds of vehicles, from motorcycles to cars, SUVs, motor boats and even private jets. It's also very successful in making electric generators and power tools, but also lawnmower. Big, small, and now even autonomous - whatever your needs, Honda has a solution.

The company even holds the completely unnecessary record for the world's fastest lawnmower: the Honda Mean Mower reached 116 mph (187 km/h) back in 2014, but everything under the plastic body had to be changed in advance. The vehicle was so famous even Stig from the old Top Gear show drove it (the pair reportedly fell in love after their encounter and ran away to get married).

The white-suited tamed racing driver might have been a bit hasty with his choice as Honda has since introduced the Miimo: a lovable tiny autonomous mower that's essentially a bigger version of your iRobot Roomba that's allowed to go outdoors and cuts grass instead of vacuuming the house.

To celebrate 25 years since the first Fireblade motorcycle (British name for teh CBR900RR) and the first time the Type-R monicker was used, Honda UK has created a couple of custom body kits for the robotic lawnmower. While the Fireblade one looks like a solid backpack - or a motorcycle gas tank, which is probably closer to its creators' intentions - the Type-R version resembles a comically squashed driverless Civic Typer-R.

However, we reckon any of these two would make wonderful gifts for the owners of the vehicles they inspired from. Sadly, they are just "concepts" made specifically for this anniversary, so there's no way to buy them. Lawns everywhere can breathe easy now knowing they're safe from the super mowers.
