It looks like Honda is preparing a nifty new bike based on the acclaimed F6C machine. The new bike is said to be a roadster codenamed F6C, possibly harking back to the older Valkyrie (pictured).
In a way, we might expect the new bike to be somewhere between the newly-revealed CTX1300 and the sweet F6B, which received a very warm welcome this year. Now, whether the new bike will be a classic one or a modern re-interpretation of the old tune is not known, but looking at the machines Honda revealed lately, we'd go for the latter.
The new F6C is said to be built around the Gold Wing 1823cc opposed-six engine and deliver a rather modest 108hp, but a crazy 116 lb-ft (157 Nm) torque at 4000 rpm, and this should make it extremely fun.
On the weight side, the new F6C is rumored to be a lot lighter than the F6B, thanks to the aluminium frame, single-sided swingarm and other lightweight components. The bike will most likely have a dual-disc front brake, ABS and will also be a decent machine for two-up riding.
And what's even nicer is that we might see it surface in a fortnight or so.
