You don’t really need a reason to introduce a customized ‘Stang, but if you have one it’s all for the best. This is exactly what can be said about Holman & Moody, which are planning to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their Tour de France Automobile Rally by launching a limited edition 2014 TdF Mustang.
The 5.0-liter V8 engine of the car has been fitted with a K&N air Filter, as well as an undisclosed Ford Racing upgrade that will also boost the hp rating, a custom exhaust system with stainless steel headers, am X-pipe made from the same materials, as well as Ford Racing sport mufflers.
The suspension has also been upgraded and now features adjustable hmPerformance sway bars, adjustable SVT struts and dampers, as well as multi-stage lowering springs. The car also gets a limited-slip differential, as well as unique 19-inch rims.
The 2014 TdF Mustang is dressed in Race Red and comes with special features such as commemorative badging, custom floor mates, as well as a numbered plate. The package also includes a 1-year membership to the SVT Owners Association, access to the company’s tech & support forums and a Holman & Moody license plate.
