Can't afford a Tesla Model S but you'd be willing to sell one lung and other less important body parts for one? Well, disregard the last part and contribute to helping a foundation.
Namely, the Messner Foundation. Its activity focuses efforts in the Denver area and aims to identify underprivileged high school students with leadership skills and provide with resources and connection to boost their careers.

Coming back to cars - since that's what we're into at autoevolution - the same foundation will hold a live raffle to win a Tesla Model S.

All you have to do is go online, get yourself one ticket ($200 each) and keep yours fingers crossed until the drawing that is set to take place on June 13. Disregard the '13', someone will get lucky that day.

According to the foundation's website, the green prize is a 2015 Tesla 60 kW Model S valued at $85,470. It is Supercharger-enabled (hardware, software, testing and unlimited free charging) and comes with red multi-coat paint, all-glass panoramic roof, and 19-inch wheels.

The interior is wearing Nappa leather seats with Obeche wood gloss trim, but here's something to consider: only 5,000 tickets will be sold, which means odds of winning the car aren't bad at all.

In fact, they're way better than any lottery could promise, and as cliché this might sound, it's for a good cause. So far, 257 tickets have been sold but if anyone feeling lucky and not very tied to $200 can have a go and who knows, maybe the summer will catch them driving a Tesla Model S.
