It's no secret that one of the most appreciated cars ever built by BMW is the E30 M3, the original high-performance 3er. It's also no secret that lately their popularity became their doom.
A mint condition BMW E30 M3 can set you back quite a lot, reaching over $20,000 easily. That's crazy you might say but remember that this price will allow you to own a piece of BMW history and a car that drives like any real sports car should, even now, almost 30 years later.
Another thing you might not like about the E30 M3 is its fuel consumption. It's an old car and, if it still has the original engine, all that performance will eat gas pretty quickly and leave you on the side of the road wondering where it went.
That's why most people are reticent towards buying such a car. However, now you can get one for around €120 ($160). Too cheap? Well, it's not actually a full on 3er, it's a 1:18 diecast model of a 1990 BMW M3 Sport Evolution.
This line of models just re-entered production after being pulled out a couple of years ago. The huge demand convinced the manufacturer to bring it back to life, to make even more BMW aficionados happy.
