Project CARS is a game developed by Slightly Mad Studio (creator of Shift series and GTR), based on realistic physics and outstanding graphics.
The game was created by racers, for racers with racers so they pretty much know what they are talking about. In addition, the whole thing was started as an independent project with funding provided by SMS with the help of World Mass Development, a platform that lets the community test the game and investors chip in.

The graphics engine is outstanding from the first shots in the the trailer but we're reluctant to think that it will be exactly the same in the end-product. However, the cars showcased in the first clip might very well make it and that makes us very happy.

Why is that? Well, just watch the clip and you tell us that it won't be a blast to drive the iconic M1, E92 M3, Z4 GTE and the legendary E30 M3 on the virtual tracks of this game. Since the Oculus logo shows up at the end of the trailer, we can't wait to experience this simulator in the complete 3D experience provided by the upcoming platform (yeah, google it!).
