Hennessey Twin-Turbo Jeep Grand Cherokee with 800 HP Previewed

Hennessey Performance is taking a shot at reinventing Santa's Sleigh (this is how the tuner is introducing its latest work) by releasing a preview of its version of the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The vehicle's 6.4-liter HEMI V8 has had its displacement increased to 7.0-liters (428 cubic inches) and has been gifted with a twin-turbo system. Thus, the V8 now generated 816 hp and a peak torque of 823 lb-ft (1,115 Nm) instead of the factory stock 471 hp and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm).

The 0 to 62 mph time has been lowered from 4.8 seconds to a supercar-crushing 3.1 seconds, with the transmission receiving a new torque converter to withstand the new output value.

The list of tech... presents also includes a lowered suspension, a set of Brembo brakes, new, as well as lightweight alloy rims. Of course, the interior and the interior have also received a multitude of custom touches.

Only 24 units of the 2013 HPE Twin Turbo Jeep will be built, with each set to retail for $235,000 (EUR179,000 at the current exchange rate).
