HD Pink Label Collection Generates $100k for Breast Cancer Support

American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson recently announced its MotorClothes Pink Label Collection has generated $100,000 in proceeds so far, an amount that will be donated to the Breast Cancer Network of Strength. Some of the proceeds from the sale of every Pink Label Collection item will help fund the YourShoes 24/7 Support Center.

“We can’t thank Harley-Davidson enough for their support,” Margaret C. Kirk, president and CEO, Breast Cancer Network of Strength, said in a release. “The funds from the Pink Label Collection will help ensure that no one faces this disease alone.”

According to the manufacturer, the collection was inspired by women who have been affected by breast cancer. The staff at the YourShoes center comprises breast cancer survivors whose mission is to provide emotional relief to those affected in these difficult times.

“We’re thrilled to be able to make a donation of this size to Breast Cancer Network of Strength,” said Kathy Whalen, Category Manager, General Merchandise, Harley-Davidson. “The response we've had to the new Pink Label Collection has been remarkable, and we thank our dealers and our loyal H-D customers for their role in making it such a quick and resounding success.”

The Pink Label Collection, introduced in January, comprises twelve items, including jackets, pants, eyewear, gloves, helmet, shirts, each featuring a touch of pink.

Highlights from the new collection includes the Pink Label Leather Jacket at $295 (combines lightweight leather, a fixed lining, multiple zippered pockets and pink-embroidered graphics), the Pink Label Activewear Hoodie ($60) and Pants ($40), the Pink Label S/S Tee ($30) and the Pink Label Headwrap with Pink Embroidery ($15).
