We don't think there is a city with a population of over 50,000 in Europe or America that doesn't have at least one Range Rover Evoque. They are extremely popular, but we doubt anybody has ever seen something like this tuned convertible.
The project came to life a few months ago when Swiss tune DS Automotive tried to install the Hamann body kit onto its Evoque Cabrio. And what do you know?! It worked just fine.

When Hamann caught wind of the project, it decided to do its own version, which is now making its video debut. Que the epic music!

We've driven one X6 M with Hamann bits a few years ago and let me tell you something: the 22-inch wheels made it almost unbearable. Considering the Evoque Cabrio has the same configuration on top of the already stiffened springs and shocks, it sounds like a terrifying situation.

As for the "body kit" itself, we doubt that you will be surprised by any of the pieces. The front end does away with the original logos while adding more ground effects. For the side skirts and wheel arches, they went with black, matching the wheels.

Even though the Evoque is king of LEDs, Hamann went for extra ones in the front bumper, while the back sees a central exhaust pipe that must have been stolen from the Lamborghini Aventador. It's framed by rows of white plastic inserts and a black trunk spoiler thrones over everything.

People are still skeptical of the Range Rover Evoque Cabriolet, so there haven't been very many deliveries yet. I think it's safe to say that this will be the most extreme project, at least for a good while. We think it looks rather cool from the top to the mirrors... you know, the part that hasn't been tuned. Otherwise, the Hamann body kits are best left for regular SUVs like the X6.
