One of the most highly-anticipated luxury jets is officially in service. The first two units of the G700 were delivered to their customers and are ready to show what they can do.
Gulfstream customers are accustomed to higher standards, and the first deliveries of the G700 didn't disappoint. They happened in record time, considering that the FAA type certification was awarded less than a month prior. There's no time to waste when it comes to getting these brand-new machines in action. People have been eagerly waiting to experience all that they have to offer, and that moment has come.

The G700 is a business jet that seamlessly combines long-range performance with one of the most luxurious designs on the market. The number one attraction associated with the flagship aircraft is the exceptional cabin packed with high-end features. It claims to offer the lowest cabin altitude available (2,916 ft/889 meters at 41,000 ft/12,497 meters), which is key for true comfort during extended flights. At the same time, it features what it described as the only ultra-galley in the industry – a kitchen area that offers more than ten feet (three meters) of countertop space.

Of course, no business jet cabin would be sumptuously comfortable without the best seats in the game – the G700's seats are based on an award-winning design. The grand suite raises the bar with a comfortable fixed bed, and the lavatory is big enough to include a spacious shower and an elegant vanity.

Following an extensive flight test program, the Gulfstream flagship proved that it could surpass its targeted performance. The G700 confirmed it could ensure a range of 7,750 nautical miles/14,353 km at Mach 0.85 and 6,650 nm/12,316 km at Mach 0.90. The maximum operating speed also increased from Mach 0.925 to Mach 0.935, which is the fastest right now across the entire Gulfstream fleet.

Powering this ultra-luxurious jet is the heavy-duty Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engine, which was certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in 2022.

The G700 is a trailblazer in several ways. In terms of design, it incorporates a new winglet that was featured for the first time on the G700 and the G800. In addition to the lowest cabin altitude and the only ultra-galley, it also sports the largest windows available – 20 big windows for gorgeous panoramic views.

The G700 also had to comply with harsher safety standards as the first business jet to undergo the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) certification process following the new 2020 Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability Act, and it did so with flying colors.

With the first two units delivered, it looks like this is going to be a busy year for Gulfstream and a very exciting year for the G700 customers.
